Ms. Arancha González

Ms. Arancha González is the third Dean of PSIA at Sciences Po and first woman to lead the world's third school for Politics and International Studies. Prior to joining PSIA, Ms González served as Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (2020-2021). She previously was Assistant-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (2013-2020). Between 2005 and 2013 she served as Chief of Staff to the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, Pascal Lamy. Before that she held senior positions at the European Commission in the areas of international trade and development. Ms González started her career as lawyer in the private sector. Ms González has been a member of PSIA's Strategic Committee since 2017. A Spanish national, Ms González holds a degree in law from the University of Navarra and a Postgraduate Degree in European Law from the University Carlos III of Madrid.

Ms. Hon Susan Close MP

Ms. Hon Susan Close MP is the Deputy Premier of South Australia and the Minister for Climate, Environment and Water; Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science; and Minister for Defence and Space Industries. Susan has been the Member for Port Adelaide since 2012. Before entering parliament, Susan was an executive in the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and played a key role in the establishment of the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary as a community advocate. She previously worked at the University of Adelaide managing student services and holds a PhD from Flinders University.

Ms Costa, Ines dos Santos

Ms Costa, Ines dos Santos was Secretary of State for the Environment, and previously assistant to the Minister of the Environment and the Minister of Environment and Energy Transition for the circular economy. Ines is currently Advisor at Deloitte Sustainability & Climate at Risk Advisory. She has 20 years of experience in the areas of research, consultancy, and public policy, particularly on corporate sustainability, industrial ecology and circular economy. Within these areas, she has developed work in environmental policy, waste management, eco-parks, and industrial symbiosis. Besides having a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, she is also an author and co-author of scientific articles, books, and technical documents in industrial ecology. In 2006, she was a visiting researcher at the Centre for Industrial Ecology of Yale University, in the United States.

Ciaran Cuffe

Ciaran Cuffe is a former Irish Minister of State for Sustainable Transport and Planning and since 2019 a Member of the European Parliament. Ciaran is a member of the Irish Green Party, part of the European Green Party. Ciaran had the opportunity to Chair the Transport Committee, the Committee of Planning and Conservation as well as the Conservation Committee of Dublin City Council. Ciaran is an architect and urban planner by education. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Regional and Urban Planning from the University College Dublin.
